After thinking about it for like a month, I went ahead and installed GrapheneOS on my phone. This was one of those ideas that just wouldn't leave my head even though there were a good arguments against it (mainly the lack of NFC payment and the fact that I would inevitably forget to back up some data). Anyways, I have bad impulse control and now my slowly aging Pixel 6 feels like a new phone again (yay). Main motivation wasnt necesarrily the security aspect (I honestly dont believe that the Polizei will seize my phone anytime soon, but hey its always better to be safe than sorry) but the further degooglification of my stuff. While there are still a few playstore apps I unfortunately need or want, I think it was worth it just to get rid of all the stupid unremovable youtube/etc apps and try out (mostly FOSS) alternatives
